Visit of the Monitoring Expert in Kaszó

The annual monitoring visit to the KASZO-LIFE project took place on 7th November 2016 with the aim of overviewing and checking the progress of the project.

Hiking the “Forest-Ranger” Educational Trail in Kaszó

We participated in the first tour implemented within project KASZÓ-LIFE guiding us along the new educational trail called “Forest-Ranger” (Erdőkerülő), also created in the course of this LIFE project. The educational trail, which has 10 stops and 2 resting places, gives insight into the activities of foresters and rangers, and has a focus on nature protection issues as well.

The guided tour was implemented on 28th July 2016. We started hiking the 960 m long educational trail together with more than further fifty participants. The organisers divided the hikers into two groups, and guided us along the trail by providing information and curiosities best suiting the composition...
